Deb has a diverse experience working with children, adults, seniors, neurodivergence and disabilities. Individual, group, parent-child or preschool/ school groups.
Description

Occupational Therapist and Dance Movement Therapist Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy), completing Diploma in Dance Therapy (IDTIA), Certificate IV Small Business Management. Practitioner of Qigong Sensory Training for autism and sensory processing disorders.

Deb trained as a Dance Movement Therapist with Marcia Levanthal in the 90’s then further with IDTIA in the 2000’s.

Deb has a broad experience of working with all ages and abilities across the life span both as an OT and Dance therapist.

Combining her passions for dance, functional movement, physical storytelling, Playback Theatre and nature she continues working with individuals and groups assisting people of all age/stages to be as independent in their life, reaching their potential, with joy and ease.

Recent project workshops have included Post Environmental Trauma (bushfires, floods and pandemic) recovery, Senior’s balance, strength & agility, Developmental Movement groups at schools and a general fun dance group within the community.

Current groups: Strong Bones, Let’s Dance and Nature Stories Creative Play

Deb does offer placement and/or work experience for students and also dance therapy supervision.
