Yumi Schaefer, Prof. Member DTAA, Grad. Dip Dance Therapy, Cert III Fitness Leader, Cert. Naomi Audette, Prof. member DTAA, PACFA Reg, M. Ed (DMT), BA (Psych), Grad.Dip.MD (Melbourne Uni), Dip.DMT (IDTIA), has specialist expertise in body image, trauma, eating disorders, child and adolescent mental health, mothers and babies, birth preparation, chronic illness, sexual abuse, breathwork, and private practice.
Naomi developed and facilitated therapeutic group programs with children, adolescents and mothers and babies with a range of mental health issues including ADHD, behavioural issues, eating disorders, body image, depression, anxiety, self-harming and trauma related to family violence, at the Royal Children’s Hospital Mental Health Service Community Group Program from 2003-2007. Also specific DMT programs ‘Body Talk’ for adolescent girls with body image issues and ‘Blast Off!’ for boys with behavioural issues and co-authored the manual “Therapeutic Games for Groupwork”. In her work she draws on her experience as a professional performer, acrobat, dancer and Clown Doctor to engage, connect, move and play with her clients. Heather Hill, PhD, Prof. Member DTAA, M.Ed., B.A.,Grad. Dip. Movement and Dance, Grad. Cert. Dance Therapy, is experienced in aged care, aged psychiatry/dementia, acute psychiatry and intellectual disability. She has written many articles and book chapters, as well as the book "Invitation to the Dance: Dance for people with dementia and their carers", now in its second edition.  Heather has expertise in the application of dance therapy in dementia and she has a particular interest in fostering dance therapy practice in this area.  She is also interested in fostering dance therapy writing and research.  Heather works as lecturer at MIECAT (the Melbourne Institute for Experiential and Creative Arts Therapy). Linda Murrow, Prof. Member DTAA, M.A. is originally from the United States where she completed a Master's in Expressive Arts Therapy and became a registered dance movement therapist, subsequently completing postgraduate training in family therapy and specialist training in couple therapy. Currently she works for Relationships Australia as a counsellor and as a member of their professional education and training team, lectures in counselling and arts therapy at the Phoenix Institute of Victoria, and maintains a private practice. She has a longstanding interest in Jungian psychology and the practice of 'authentic movement', offering in-depth individual and group work. Linda has taught dance-movement therapy at Melbourne University and co-developed the Master of Creative Arts Therapy and the Graduate Diploma of Dance Movement Therapy at RMIT University.
