Policy for use of DTAA logo

This policy sets out the conditions under which the DTAA logo may be used

The DTAA logo is a registered brand of the association. It is approved for use for two major functions: to identify DTAA-produced publications and activities, and by Professional Members to indicate their recognition by the Association.

DTAA use

The DTAA logo is approved for use for DTAA publications, including:

  • Moving On: Journal of DTAA
  • Dance Therapy Collections
  • DTAA e-news
  • Certificates of Provisional Professional and Professional membership
  • Official correspondence by members of the General Committee and Convenors of Sub-Committees

And for DTAA-hosted events, including:

  • professional development activities, such as workshops, webinars, study groups, supervision sessions, conferences
  • the Annual General Meeting

Individual use of the DTAA logo

Registered Professional Members of the DTAA may also use the logo to indicate that they have been recognised at this level of membership.

The logo may only be used to refer to the individual who is registered as a Professional Member.  It may be used on the member’s official letterhead, business card or within the signature block on the member’s email or letterhead.

However, for this privilege, Professional Members must continue to meet requirements of membership including being a current financial member, reporting sufficient CPD and supervision activities annually, and adhering to DTAA’s Code of Ethics and Professional Practice standards.

The logo may not be applied to any business, institution, agency, or event without the express permission of the DTAA.

The colours and design of the logo may NOT be altered. It is assumed that size of the logo used will be appropriate to the location and placement.

If these conditions are not met, permission for use of the DTAA logo is immediately revoked.

The logo (B&W or purple) can be accessed here.
